First, let me say I am dreadfully sorry if you are one of the millions who have experienced sudden unemployment due to the worldwide efforts to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

In America, millions were unemployed overnight.  The US Department of Labor estimates at least 16 million people lost their jobs in just a 3-week time span, part of the most shocking job losses in history.

Entertaining New Job Possibilities

If you weren’t prepared for this, you’re not alone.  Maybe, you can use this unexpected turn of events to make even more unexpected turns that can help you make lemonade out of the sour lemons you were handed.

What if you could use this time to train and make some progress toward a new and better career, one that pays more, is not subject to every recessionary whim, and one that can be done remotely?

Wow!  What kind of job is that!?

How about SAP Accounts Payable Specialist?  Or SAP HR Manager? Or SAP Material Master Data Specialist

What’s SAP you ask?  I’m getting there!

A Shifting Economy

Sadly, some jobs probably won’t come back.  Our economy is changing rapidly and many professional skills are becoming obsolete.  With an eye on the future, those who train for jobs today should pursue something that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Now, if I told you that 90% of the world’s companies use a particular type of software and that this particular software includes such a huge conglomeration of functions that everything from Accounting, to HR, to Inventory Management is in there somewhere, would you be interested?

Sure!

What could possibly be so cool, you might ask?

SAP software systems, that’s what.

Ever Thought About A Career In SAP?

SAP software systems are used by 90% of the world’s companies.  Companies in niches far and wide, serving just about every industry you can think of. SAP is an integral part of their business.  They use it, they love it, they depend on it for all facets of their business.

They use it in the accounting department.  They use it in the inventory management department.  They use it in the HR department, sales department, procurement department, just to name a few.

In short, SAP is used in almost every business, in almost every department.

This means SAP is common, popular, and won’t go away anytime soon, unlike the job you just lost.

Looking To The Future

Nobody has a crystal ball, but this novel viral pandemic stands poised to make permanent changes in how the world operates.  Telecommuting and remote work will become more common. SAP even fits the criteria for that trend.  It can be done anywhere the internet is available.

If employment insecurities cloud your life, training yourself in SAP software might really be the great idea you need to implement!  It can be done online, in your spare time, and it is very affordable.

If your professional background includes just about any kind of corporate or office work, chances are high that SAP training added to your resume will supplement that experience beautifully and give you a leg up against job loss.

We wish you much success in whatever you decide to pursue!  It’s an uncertain time, which can bring a lot of fear.  Making a positive step toward a safer future can be invigorating.  Good luck!
