Can I post a transaction to both a cost center and an internal order?

The system typically allows us to choose our desired cost element(s). However, there is a risk of duplicate reporting in the event that we post a singular transaction to both a cost center and an internal order. It should also be noted that� reporting for cost centers is based on a fiscal year while that of internal orders isn't bound by fiscal year.�Instead it can be ran from any date within its start date to its end date.
