Can you explain the integration between SAP FI and SAP PM?

The financial accounting module integrates with PM directly and indirectly via the materials management module. The settling�of work orders, execution of cost analysis and activity based costing are examples of direct integration while indirect integration�is�done via the purchase of maintenance materials and consumption of maintenance materials.
