SAP uses organizational units to denote the functional structure of any organization. This also includes accounting, human resources, sales, production and other business process. The purchasing and inventory management organizational structure of any company can be represented by the Client, Company Code, Plant, Storage Location, Purchasing Organization and Purchasing Group.
