What is Asynchronous Integration in SAP Process Integration (PI) ?

Asynchronous Integration in SAP Process Integration is a request message sent out to a third party system and SAP Process Integration doesn't wait for a response message from the third party system. These integrations are also called one-way integrations in SAP Process Orchestration. Once the message is sent out there is no connection in message with SAP Process Integration.
