What is SAP HANA?

SAP HANA�is SAP's newest database product. The term HANA stands for�High-Performance ANalytical Appliance. SAP HANA is an in-memory database in which the data resides in the server's memory as opposed to the server's disk drives. This allows the real-time processing of massive quantities of data in a very short amount of time.�
